review rating 4  I am on a quest to find the best pizza place in the area. The pizza here is very good. I was looking for pizza by the slice. The place has some of the best I have found. Love the crust, not too bready. The sauce was great. Only one problem the place is not a family spot because of the pot smoking ads. But great pizza.

review rating 5  Great food, wonderful staff and the owner is so chill. The pizza was out of this world, and the lentil soup was bursting with hearth healthy flavor. And all of it for just 20$. No DC café can beat Cafe’ Romeo’s ambiance food and service.

With a delicious variety of food, drinks, and hookah/shisha, we here at Café Romero are proud to serve Downtown D.C., Georgetown, and the Upper Northwest — home to our nation’s past and future, institutions of excellence (including us, of course!), and vibrant communities you won’t find anywhere else.

One of our favorite locales is Downtown D.C., where holidays are monumental and there’s no shortage of things to do and see. There’s a reverence about Downtown, thanks to the historical sites, museums, and cultural landmarks preserved throughout the neighborhood. Speaking of history, it’s also home to the renowned George Washington University, which has been teaching the leaders of tomorrow since 1821. And it’s also where you’ll find CityCenterDC, a bustling metropolis of shops, offices, enchanting public spaces, and residences for those who don’t want to leave — and that’s okay — we deliver!

Now, you’re only as old as you feel, but Georgetown definitely has seniority here — it was established in 1751, a full 40 years before the capital itself. With its charming cobblestone streets, boutique shopping, and dazzling waterfront district (hello, Washington Harbor and Georgetown Waterfront Park!), you have to admit some things do get better with age (parmesan, anyone?). Even Georgetown University, as the oldest Catholic and Jesuit university in the United States, is constantly innovating its programs. We’re glad to cater to the Georgetown neighborhood and all its established glory.

The Upper Northwest is a haven of green, both stately and spiritual. As fresh-air (and fresh-ingredient) enthusiasts ourselves, we’re fans of the Upper Northwest’s Glover-Archibold Park, which hosts joggers, dog-walkers (keep ’em leashed, please!), and hikers daily. It’s a serene escape. If you visit, you might run into students from any of the eight schools at American University, also located in this neighborhood. Along with education and connecting with nature, there’s a feeling like you’re part of something bigger, and that’s probably the Washington National Cathedral. With its breathtaking neo-Gothic architecture, gargoyles, and stained glass, anyone can come here and be inspired. You inspire us, Upper Northwest.

If you live in our beautiful part of D.C., at Café Romero, we’re so happy to call you our neighbor.
